Nittany Laser Technologies offers a range of laser welding services, from very small to medium size (<500 lbs) parts.  Laser welding is a precise automated process with very high quality repeatable results.  Laser welding greatly reduces the heat input, resulting in a much smaller heat affected zone (HAZ), and much less thermal distortion.  NLT can provide weld parameter development and can weld quantities ranging from 1 to thousands.

Nittany Laser Technologies offers laser cladding services for small to medium size (<500 lbs) parts.  We offer wire-based laser cladding for a broad range of base metals and coatings.  Laser cladding provides many benefits compared to conventional arc cladding processes, including much less dilution, better metallurgical properties, and much less thermal distortion.  Laser cladding adds a fully dense metallurgically bonded layer that will not chip or flake off like thermal spray processes.
